To preserve the irreplaceable character, history, and original pigments of the weathered boat wood, we deeply seal each piece using a premium multi-stage finish. Because these are true historical artifacts, the original paint may contain trace elements common to vintage marine materials. Our finishing process completely locks and seals the original surfaces for safe everyday use. As with any authentic antique, do not sand, scrape, or heavily abrade the original finish.
