Voiej was born from a spark, a need to create something with soul. We don’t just make furniture. We rescue stories from the ocean, carve meaning into every piece of wood, and give forgotten materials a second life with pride.
Ours is a brand powered by circular thinking and a deep love for craftsmanship. We obsess over form, texture, and origin, not to fit in, but to stand out. While others follow trends, we follow instinct, guided by a passion for repurposing with intention and designing with heart.

At Voiej, sustainability is not a feature, it’s the foundation. Every piece begins its life at sea, in the hands of fishermen whose 15–20-year-old canoes have weathered tides, storms, and countless journeys. When we buy these vessels directly from them, it’s more than a transaction; it’s a cycle. They use the funds to build their next canoe, continuing their craft and their livelihood, while we give their old one a second life on land.
We do the same with fishing boats, some 30, 40, even 50 years in service, built from the kind of teak and ironwood that time cannot weaken. Once they retire from the water, we bring them to our workshop, strip the wood, and shape it into something that will endure for decades more. These woods are dense, heavy, and rich with history, carrying the scars of a life well-lived. In our hands, they remain in the loop, never discarded, always reborn, a testament to circularity, to craftsmanship, and to the belief that nothing with a story should be left behind.
